Project Ramadan presents...

10 years in the bag, featuring hasan minhaj

Happening in the George Weston Recital Hall

Project Ramadan is an initiative dedicated to supporting families in need within our community. Operating under the umbrella of the Muslim Welfare Centre, Project Ramadan’s mission is simple: we fundraise, assemble, and distribute baskets containing staple food items.

Project Ramadan was created in 2009 by a group of young adults who found themselves concerned about the food disparity within their local community. Through the kind donations of people like you, Project Ramadan has raised over $1,000,000 and distributed over 15,000 baskets since its inception. Project Ramadan distribute baskets to families regardless of their race, religion or nationality. Enthusiastic volunteers come from across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area to band together and make this initiative possible.

As Project Ramadan enters its 10th year, come out and celebrate the organization’s success and milestones. The evening will be filled with highlights from the past 10 years, speeches from current Executive Committee members and a stand-up by Hasan Minhaj of The Daily Show.
