Music Industry Arts and Performance Program

The Music Industry Arts and Performance (MIAP) program will turn your passion for popular, world or indigenous music into an exciting and lasting career in a wide range of areas relating to music. The unique program, offered by Centennial College's School of Communications, Media and Design strives to help students nurture musicality and creativity; raise awareness of a variety of music cultures; build knowledge of music-related technologies and; develop business and entrepreneurial skills.

As a graduate of the Music Industry Arts and Performance program, students will be versatile and culturally aware musicians and singers with the technological and business savvy necessary to work in the music industry of today and tomorrow.

Dance Performance Program

Dance your way to a fulfilling career with Centennial College’s Dance Performance program, the ultimate steppingstone to becoming a professional dancer. Facilitated by Centennial College's School of Communication, Media and Design, this dynamic program is on the cutting edge of what’s new, innovative, current and popular in today’s dance culture. It will focus on helping you to develop a high standard of performance and technical dance skills in: commercial dance, hip-hop, ballet, jazz, contemporary, cultural, world trends, Indigenous North American dance forms, acrobatics, singing, choreography and pas de deux.

Theatre Arts and Performance Program

Centennial College's Theatre Arts and Performance Program is your open door to a multi-faceted professional career in theatre. Classes in acting, movement and voice will expand your artistic range across different styles of classic and contemporary performance -- both live and on-camera. With a unique added focus on developing your entrepreneurial skills as an artist, you will graduate from this program well-equipped to take on the challenges of creating, producing, directing or performing your own productions, putting you at the front-line of theatre innovation, whether you're working in Toronto or on the world stage!

In addition to learning technical dance skills, students take courses that nurture and enrich their mind-body connection, and enhance the ability for storytelling.
